​​GULF COAST REBEL

     The Gulf Coast Rebel is always a metal top guitar.

It has a similar shape to the Delta Zephyr but is always a slightly different size.

     This is because the metal top is fabricated from antique Embossed Sliver Plate over either Brass or Copper.

Since it is antique I work with what ever size I can find to the guitar is subject to the size and pattern on the antique silver plate.

     The Gulf Coast Rebel is not bound but it is chambered.  

     It can have either 2 0r 3 pickups and the switch is generally on the upper bout.

     There is a Bigsby vibrato unit and when I can find them I like using the vintage Gibson Version.

     The headstock is scrolled but not always tiltback.
